Below is some of my portrait work from Super Bowl LVI (56). The assignment was to capture the energy and emotion of the exciting day at SoFi stadium through fan portraits: before; during and after the game’s final exciting snap. Fans were fired up. The weather was absolutely incredible, and everyone was sporting their team colors and personal style. You could sense this would be a special day. My job was to capture those moments and create memories for fans to last a lifetime.
Btw, if you haven’t attended a game or event at Sofi Stadium. Do yourself a favor and see the venue first hand. It’s amazing. And if you have the opportunity to photographically work an event at SoFi. You’re going to love the soft filtered light steaming through its translucent roof. Add a little off-camera fill flash to your subject, and portraits practically take themselves. ~Best, Scott
